FAQ

Do you have all of your inventory in stock, or is it sold on consignment?

All of our inventory is in our warehouses, in stock.

Do you ship to ______?

We ship worldwide. We can arrange shipping prepay & add, or you can arrange your own pickup or courier/carrier shipping from one of our 2 warehouses.

Does your equipment come with a warranty?

Yes – a 30 day from date of delivery warranty is included with all equipment unless it is specifically marked as being sold “As-is”

Warranty Policy

At Metallography Canada, we are committed to ensuring the quality and reliability of our machinery, and your satisfaction. If you encounter any issues with a product purchased from us within 30 days of receipt, we will take the following steps at no additional cost to you:

Repairs: We will repair the product, including all necessary parts and labour, to resolve any issues.

Replacement/Refund: If we are unable to repair the product, we will offer you a full refund of the purchase price, including the original shipping costs.

Return Shipping: In the event of a return, we will cover the cost of return shipping.

Please contact our customer service team for assistance with any warranty claims. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction and resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

This warranty policy is valid for 30 days from the date of delivery.

Do you accept credit card payment?

At the present time, we do not accept credit card payment. Electronic funds transfers such as ACH/EFT/Wire/Interac(™) are accepted, or a cheque made out to Metallography Canada, and sent to our office.

Do you offer financing or payment terms?

At the present time, no financing options are available. Payments terms are Net In Advance – no equipment is shipped without payment in full having been received.

Yes – see our “Sell Your Equipment” page.

Do you offer installation and training service?

Yes, we offer installation and training service depending on availability. Please inquire directly.

Do you offer servicing (repair) or calibration of equipment?

No, we do not generally offer repair and we are not accredited for calibration. However, we do in some cases offer bench service/repairs for equipment shipped to us at your cost. Please inquire about pricing and availability.
